A reflection on passage and transformation — where light becomes the map, and silence becomes the sea.
Artist’s Note:
Luna is a contemplative exploration of silence, shadow, and the quiet resilience that exists within darkness. Inspired by the mysterious terrain of the moon, this artwork reflects the unseen emotional landscapes we often carry within ourselves. The layered textures are intentionally built to mimic the moon’s scarred yet luminous surface — reminding us that beauty can emerge through time, erosion, and experience.
Through the use of metallic tones and dimensional detailing, I aimed to represent not just the physical presence of the moon, but its symbolic role as a guide through emotional and spiritual cycles. Much like lunar phases, human growth is rarely linear — it moves through illumination, concealment, vulnerability, and renewal. Luna invites viewers to pause and reflect on their own hidden depths, encouraging an acceptance of darkness not as emptiness, but as a space where transformation quietly begins.
